Choose us for your special day, you will have at least one less thing to worry about.
If you have a favourite song that you would like us to play for your first dance at your evening wedding party and we don't know it already, we will do our best to learn it and perform it for you.(providing of course it fit's the style of the band, and of course we have the time to arrange/rehearse it )
Bear in mind that you may well like a particular rock song, as performed by a certain artist, for your first dance but when the band play it,it may not sound anything like the original.
Be aware of our instrumentation and style and realise what limitations this might have on what we can play.(Ballads may fit the band's line up better than a rock number)
You may find it's often easier to pick a first dance song which is already in our play list.
Another solution may be to get your first dance song on CD and have the DJ (if you're having one) play the song through his equipment. This allows us to create more of an impact when we start our set immediately afterwards.
We will of course discuss your requirements with you beforehand.
We will provide 3 sets of 45 minutes to 60 minutes long at a time to suit you.Please see the repertoire link for more info on the type of music we play.
In addition to providing musical entertainment for your evening reception, we are able to provide other forms of music too, both for your civil ceremony and your reception.
We can provide a 4 piece band The Smooth Operators consisting of a horn player and rhythm section, although this can be reduced to a trio,duo or even a piano soloist if space is limited.We play a selection of cool easy listening jazz standards by Gershwin/Cole Porter etc as well as easy listening pop standards This music is not obtrusive.
We can provide a pianist to provide background music (classical/jazz/easy listening) prior to the bride's arrival,and during the signing of the registry, with the possibility of the addition of a trumpet for entry of the bride,and the exit of bride and groom.
